Nyra is an adults-only AI companion service. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use the Nyra Android app, this website, and the related APIs and support channels.

2. What we collect
We collect the information needed to create your account and run the service:
- Account and age data. An anonymous account ID or email address, display name, date of birth, gender, preferences, maturity setting and account status.
- Conversation content. Messages, prompts, character details, opening scenes and generated images you create or receive in the app. Recent conversation history is used to provide context for replies.
- Credits and purchases. Credit balances, ledger entries, product IDs, purchase tokens and subscription status. We do not receive or store your card details; Google Play handles the payment instrument.
- Technical data. Server logs, request timestamps, error data and security signals. If rewarded ads are enabled, Google Mobile Ads may process device and advertising identifiers.
- Support and reports. The content of messages you send to support, including safety reports and any details or attachments you choose to provide.
The website stores authentication tokens in browser storage to keep you signed in and synchronize your account with Android. Sign out on shared devices. Uploaded character portraits use public URLs; do not upload confidential images. This website has no analytics, advertising cookies or tracking scripts. The app can offer optional AdMob rewarded ads. Choosing an ad involves Google's ad services; consent choices may apply depending on your region.
3. How we use information
- Create and secure your account, apply the adult age gate, and remember your preferences.
- Generate AI replies, character drafts and image scenes, and keep conversation history available to you.
- Meter credits, verify purchases, prevent duplicate grants and support subscriptions.
- Enforce the adult-only rule and blocking of content that sexualizes minors; investigate abuse and reports.
- Provide support, debug failures, protect the service and comply with legal obligations.
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract, our legitimate interests in operating a safe service, and your consent where consent is requested. The age gate uses your adult confirmation and the birth date you provide; it is not identity-document verification.
5. Retention
Account, profile, character, message and image data are kept while needed to provide your account and conversation history. You can delete your account in Profile -> Delete account. Deletion removes the associated account data and stored generated images, subject to purchase, security, fraud-prevention and legal records. Backup copies may remain until the relevant backup is replaced. Provider-held data is subject to that provider's retention practices.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, export of or deletion of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent and, where applicable, complain to your local data protection authority. Legal obligations may limit a deletion request.
You can delete your account in Profile -> Delete account. For access, correction, export, objection or restriction requests, email privacy@nyra-ai.codes from the address linked to your account. We may need to verify the request. Guest users can contact us for help identifying the account.
7. Security
Nyra uses account access controls, database row-level security, restricted generated-image storage and server-side purchase verification. Chats are not end-to-end encrypted: the service and its AI processors must process their contents to generate replies. Private by design does not mean nobody can access data for operations, support, safety or legal requirements. Keep credentials private and contact us if you believe your account has been compromised.
8. Minors
Nyra is strictly for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice in the app or by email where appropriate.
